Beautiful hand twined rug, woven on handmade loom using re-purposed cotton blended materials.  This 20" X 27" rug can be machine washed and dried

The twining makes this rug thick and sturdy, a good long lasting rug. Great for entryways to absorb tracked in snow.

Twining is a very old way of weaving using two strands of fabric one in front of and one behind the warp. The warp runs vertically through the rug with the metal rod at either side stabilizing the horizontal two rows of 'twining' strands to keep the shape of the rug straight while weaving to ensure an equal tension weave.
